I believe that we should work to find those who are here illegally, and those who have a clean record, we should get registered, made to pay a fine, and start contributing their fair share to taxes, etc.

I'm all for beefing up boarder security. Building a wall is not the answer though. It'll cost way too much, and it'll be ineffective.

 

We also really need to buckle down on the businesses that hire these people. Make it to the point that their business will cease to exist if they're caught doing it.

Agreed. The frustration that I have is the failure to attempt enforcement of the laws that we now have on the books. Would it really be any benefit to create new laws?
