That can be taken in a couple of ways.

Some Like it Hot was on this weekend. Another classic.

A favorite of mine has always been The Pink Panther.

Scrooge, with Alistair Sim in the main role.

Just about anything with Cary Grant. Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House, I Was a Male War Bride, North by Northwest, His Girl Friday.

Just about anything with Katharine Hepburn. Bringing Up Baby, Woman of the Year, The African Queen, Pat and Mike.

I also loved the classic horror movies.

A favorite of mine has always been The Pink Panther.

Love Peter Sellers and the PP movies. An underrated one of his was "The Party". The Mouse That Roared was another classic.

And every time I'm channel surfing and land on one of the Marx Brothers movies, I stop and watch it until the end.

The Thin Man series. Still strong even after William Powell got sick and came back.

High Noon with Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly. My dad is a fan of the older country music, so I grew up listening to him play his albums...one of which was Tex Ritter. Had heard the song Do Not Forsake Me dozens of times and never knew it was for this movie. Didn't see the movie until I was grown and had moved away. Was an instant trip back in time for me the first time I saw it.

Cheaper by the Dozen

Rio Bravo

In the Heat of the Night

All About Eve

It Happened One Night

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valiance

Key Largo

The Philadelphia Story

Sabrina

McClintock!

Gaslight

Way too many to list. Jimmy Stewart is a personal favorite. First thoughts:

Anatomy of a Murder

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

Mr. Hobbs takes a vacation

The Cheyenne Social Club

Here's a few I really like that I don't think have been mentioned.

Giant

Easy Rider

My Fair Lady

The Incredible Mr Limpet

I can't believe I missed Giant! Love that movie even though it's so long!
