I'm sure they have hopes of resigning some of these guys down the road. You don't want to burn that bridge before it's even built. You bring them up when they are ready. You also need some time to figure out what you have. They all won't workout. I don't need to see Cody reed have a 2.50 ERA in AAA for another 30 starts.

And it takes guys some time to figure it out up here as well. It took Homer till year 4 or 5 to really figure it out.
