Agreed. Have to think at this point that Saturday will be Reed. I just don't know who else it could possibly be at this point.

For some reason the game last night intrigued me enough to stay up and watch it. Alfredo Simon looked like he ran out of gas after the first inning he threw. Everything in inning two looked like a BP fastball, straight as an arrow. The guy needs to go sooner rather than later as he adds no value to this roster at the current time. Reds were lucky to get to the point they were, but that loss is just another in a line of those that coulda woulda shoulda.

So Bruce is hitting well and we give him a seat on the bench? I get rest and all, but when you are stroking it like he has been time off is not necessary. Suarez needs about 2 weeks in AAA to get his head screwed back on right. He looks to swing at every pitch that comes his way and looks absolutely clueless at the plate right now.
