Bautista looked like he was going down for the count after that cross!

Loved it, this plus Votto not throwing baseballs to kids with their parents hanging on them twice made my day. I would be on Sportscenter all the time if I was in the MLB because I would be just like that to away and home fans. Parents with kids begging for balls has replaced drunks as the biggest nuisance at games

I'm surprised you the number of people online saying it was a cheap shot.

He was facing him and even shoved him first. That's on Bautista for not defending himself.

And started to throw a punch. Hand was coming up.

I'll take an 8 year old asking for a ball over a drunk spilling his beer on me every day of the week and twice on Sunday. My kids have never begged for balls, although they have gotten a few autographs. i think adults for begging for balls is ridiculous. But taunting a kid by faking you're going to throw a ball to him is a jerk move whether his parents are involved or not. If you don't want to play the "toss a kid a ball" game, just ignore it and roll the ball back to the mound.

What are some early surprises?

I'm surprised at the Phillies and how well they are doing. Surprised at the Astros slow start.

Philadelphia have gotten great pitching, and while not hitting a ton, what they've had is timely. That being said, this team doesn't score enough runs, and won't continue to be this great in 1 run games. They've got talent in the farm system though, and once they can get out from under Howard's contract after next year, they can spend some money and pick up a few missing pieces. This team will be very good again soon.

I'm with you on both of those.

Mlb channel has the Dodgers game on right now, Vin Scully is doing the commentary. If you ain't doing anything it is worth the flip of the channel. He is so fun to listen to.

Ashland Ky native, Greg Gibson just calls out Albert Pujols for leaving early on a tag from 1st base on a Sac fly that the throw went home. After the appeal it is reviewed and over turned. How do you make that call if you ain't right?
