A message for my fellow Republicans: If you back Trump you will not be trusted again | Fox News

The United States of America was built on 240 years of blood, toil, and sacrifice. We owe our ancestors, and our children, so much better than handing this country over to a man of Mr. Trump’s character and intentions.

Voters will not forget those individuals who supported Mr. Trump. And any Republican who endangers our nation by supporting Donald Trump will not be trusted again.

I don't trust the bunch we have in there now. They have misled the Americans we elected all these years. They were on the same side. No wonder there is gridlock. We will not forget their deception either. Voting for Mr. Trump is not being a traitor to your country. Being a traitor is leaving these people in office too many years.

Why should he even have to consider Ryan's platform? Been there done that. Trump's new ideas will help the middle class America even Lawrence Kudlow on CNBC, one of the most liberal news rooms out there. We've heard all the wasted ideas from the R's and D's, what did that $3 trillion dollars get us? Nothing, zero zilch nada. They are the ones who should have their listening ears on. They definitely should be listening. And not run to the mic set up in the hall to ?leak? every plan they don't like. Trump needs to run this country like a business.

Gotta disagree with you on this one, Maw.

Government Shouldn't Run Like A Business

And finally, this:

But government in a democracy is nothing like a business. It is supposed to organize itself to deliver services and make people’s lives better, not profit off the people. Managing government and business requires entirely different skill sets and mindsets. (Also, that thing about businesses “creating jobs?” That’s not what businesses strive to do; they strive to cut costs and eliminate jobs.

I'm not saying you have rjs. There have been plenty on this site that have.

More than that RM. Just go back and read through some threads.

Ever sit in and audit a class of 5 year olds studying at a Madrassa? Ever have a Muslim for a dorm partner and you are devout Roman Catholic? The compulsory call to prayer 5 times a day seems a little excessive and mind controlling. And says they would like a discussion about faith? College gave my son a private room without our asking.

So I guess this means that Bush believes that a Clinton Presidency and the Supreme Court being heavily biased to the left is better for the country than Trump.:banghead:

Ever have a roommate that snores and doesn't pick up his dirty clothes and eats your food without asking?? That's a much bigger problem than a guy praying 5 times a day. And come to think of it, I know plenty of Roman Catholics that say prayers 3 times a day before each meal, and before going to bed. So I'm guessing 4 is the line where praying becomes excessive.

While I'm not a devout Roman Catholic, yes - I did indeed have a Muslim as a roommate in college. First time I met him (he moved into the room before me) he was kneeling on a prayer rug and touching his head to a tablet.

It's not about any of that. It's about the party perpetuating it's power grap and existence.

Bush believes the Clintons will keep things the same old crooked way as always. Who has more to offer for them, Clinton or Trump.

Clinton of course, she will keep the under the table money going for those wanting to keep their power.
