Are there any requirements such as now to parent pressure, play less talented kids, be an atheist, and not a good role model

Job was already promised to someone back in Feb from what I am told.

I was wondering if the Superintendent would be required to show a little more respect for the district's students' opinions. Currently they are only "pawns" for others. Wow! Not a good recruiting strategy or message to share in finding a quality coach. Oops! Forgot, they just got rid of one of those.

Outside of the someone the job it has been promised to, who would touch this job with a 10 foot pole @ this point?

 

That being said, there are plenty of positions I have seen in the past I would have said the exact same thing about (some I had to hire as well) & got them filled. :ohbrother:

Same parents but that won't matter because it's the culture they know. The position has been a revolving door for better than 3 decades....about the same time frame that basketball became "big" at Rowan. There have been a few good seasons but the staff keeps turning over.

Job opening is only posted for two weeks, and they are announcing the hire the day after they close the posting? The alleged interviews being conducted by the principal and AD at this point are all for show. They already knew their man, no doubt about it. Nobody makes a hire that fast.
