June 23, 201610 yr I agree. I think she ends up killing Tommen Sunday night, most likely unintentionally, and Jamie kills her next season for it. Jamie doesn't come off as loving Tommen all that much. He seems to love Cersie far more. I think if he kills her it would be to prevent death, like with the mad king. I can't see him killing Cersie after the fact. I could be wrong though.

The irony that Jaime killed the mad king to stop the destruction of King's Landing only for his twin to destroy the city.

June 27, 201610 yr All I can say is OMG. Such an epic follow up to last week. My wife cried during the Lady Mormont speech. She is epic. The opening scene was crazy. And Arya is back to awesome!

June 27, 201610 yr Lyanna Mormont is a boss. Seeing the various Westoros banners sailing behind Dany and her dragons was awesome. Cersei is in a whole world of trouble. Dorne, Highgarden, Iron Isles, and the Unsullied and Dorthraki....

June 27, 201610 yr A phenomenal conclusion to the most eventful season yet. Every scene was impactful and the directing, acting, and soundtrack came together perfectly. The music playing during the opening scenes and Cersei's crowning was haunting. I was a little worried before the start of the season that with the loss of most all of the source material the writing/story would suffer. To an extent that was true (consider the Arya build-up), but it seems like the heavy lifting is done. The boulder has been pushed to the top of the hill through the exhaustive plot and character development in the books and now it's set to rumble back down the hill. There's not much more for the showrunners to do but put these climatic scenes on film and that is one thing they do exceptionally well. Like this season, I don't expect the last two will have much plot building, but will be an unfolding explosion of events crashing into its final conclusion.

June 27, 201610 yr I did not expect Queen Margaery to die. I didn't either. I thought the writers seemed to be leading to her doing something big at the end of the season, then just decided to throw her into the mix of death last nite. Tommen dying wasn't a surprise, just the way it happenend. Great episode, great season.
