Not sure where you live, but a lot of the lazies are Republicans around southern KY.

There is more to this issue as well. Large multi-nationals are very effective at moving their costs around globally to transfer income to their benefit. The high US corporate tax rate serves as an incentive to move income out of the US.

The US has a high corporate tax rate already ? Would that mean if raised even more that more jobs could be outsourced to other countries ? No that would never happen , we are going to just stick it to the evil corporations and they will have to pay their fair share with no consequence to the economy ( said many a lib)

Having to pay 40% of your income back in taxes does not give Corporations much incentive on keeping their business in the U.S.
