I heard Whitney Ballinger Hooper has recently left her job at Meade County. She is from an area near Oldham county.

She wasnt one of the names I heard but she would be a good hire, never know. She was a stud for Carroll County and played for one of the good ones

I've not seen or heard anything on this as of yet. It's not on the KHSAA's site as of yet.

Saw on Twitter that OC hired a guy named Jefferson? Who is he?

Oldham County has hired Chris Jefferson as its next girls head basketball coach.

 

Jefferson earned his first head coaching job last season at Holy Cross (Louisville), where the Cougars finished 13-15 with a loss in the 21st District semifinals.

 

Jefferson replaces former Lady Colonels’ coach Brian Hood, who resigned in April after one year as head coach.

 

Jefferson has 18 years of coaching experience with stops at Butler and South Oldham.

 

The Lady Colonels finished last season 12-18 with a first round region tournament loss to Owen County.

Heard there might be a big name transfer to OC as well, didn't name names, anybody else hear that?

I have heard a couple of rumors about transfers but really nothing specific. Would this person be an in-district transfer or in-region?

Any truth to the rumors? Had to from another Oldham?
