Mike Wallace, not a Teddy fan?

Featured Replies

Certainly the comment about whether or not Teddy is "proven" is perfectly fair. He's not.

Bridgewater also certainly has his limitations, but I don't think it's fair just yet to say he can't get things done. That offensive line last year was a complete mess and every Vikings fan with half a brain groans every time he thinks about how much time and money the organization wasted on Matt Kalil.

As Zimmer, Turner, and Spielman reformulate that line, we'll get a better idea of what Bridgewater's abilities and shortcomings really are.

Teddy certainly is not proven yet, but with the offensive lines he's had since he's been in the league, extremely difficult to make huge strides in his game.

Ben made Mike. So totally fair. He's a one trick pony. And Ben was terrific at throwing the deep ball. Frankly so is Flacco. Teddy not at all. But Mike has junk hands

I'm no Mitchell fan but it'd be must see TV if he wrecks Wallace

When i saw the headline I thought of Teddy's arm versus Flacco's arm. Flacco has a strong arm and can throw deep. Bridgewater has an adequate arm and the deep ball is not his best weapon.

Wallace's talents favor a passing game with the deep ball threat. However, I think he should keep his mouth shut. Talk about looking forward to the Raven's offense but don't get negative about where you came from. At least that's what my Mamma taught me.

Agreed

I've paid more attention to Teddy than most for the mere fact that he was in the same QB class as Bortles. Coming into the league everyone knew Bridgewater's weakness was his arm. Teddy is great on short to intermediate throws. That's where he excels. He's been handicapped to an extent by having to just hand the ball off to the one of the best running backs of all time. I think I read a stat that last year he was pressured the most of all QB's in the league on dropbacks. The Vikings line is awful and that's an understatement. Next two years as AD wears down will determine how good of a QB he can be.

Cheap shot by Wallace. His QB last year was a missed chip shot FG from beating the defending champs. I also think Flacco is one of the more overrated QB's in the league. He has had some decent playoff games but he is terrible at times IMO. He does have a cannon - will give him that.

Fair statement. Wallace isn't good enough to make a QB better. He needs a QB to make him better. Bridgewater doesn't match up well with what Wallace does fairly well- run fast, throw the deep ball, catch a decent % of them.
