March 12, 201610 yr And to make a prediction, I'll bet the next serious contributor for the Steelers at WR will be Eli Rogers, former UofL kid. He was having a terrific camp before his foot issue. He's back healthy and while he's not a burner, he's got a shot to be a solid player.
March 13, 201610 yr His agent said he is fighting depression and that is his coping mechanism. Or, maybe he just can't stop smokin'. Just a hunch.
March 13, 201610 yr The NFL really needs to address how to handle marijuana. With it being legal in Washington and Seattle and available by prescription in California they need to figure something out. You could say this about any corporation that goes across state lines. But as far as I know to this point all corporations who go across state lines are following federal law and ignoring the new state laws. There are plenty of businesses still testing even if it's legal in the state.

We only get tested for drugs when we apply for the job, if we have an accident at work and if you have been out of the plant for longer than 150 days. Other than that you won't be tested for drugs. For any drugs.

Alcohol is legal but if your tested for alcohol is the same deal. The problem with marijuana is there isn't a test to prove when I smoked it. I could of smoked it on Saturday and come to work Tuesday and it's still in my system. It's a very tricky situation and corporations always side with caution.
March 13, 201610 yr As with every similar story we hear about weed... Is it worth it?? Nope. It isn't.
March 13, 201610 yr Author His agent said he is fighting depression and that is his coping mechanism. Or, maybe he just can't stop smokin'. Just a hunch. Either one or both could be true. Makes you think twice about legalization.
March 13, 201610 yr Either one or both could be true. Makes you think twice about legalization. maybe, but I'm not a fan of cop outs. Just own it, and move on.
March 14, 201610 yr Author maybe, but I'm not a fan of cop outs. Just own it, and move on. But if Bryant just owns it the punishment will probably be worse (certainly not any better) than if he claims it is a health issue.
