Th 6th and 7th Regions will be loaded again. While Butler will be the favorite, Bullitt East will be very talented and Mercy will continue to be a tough out. The 7th region may be led by Male but Manual and SHA will not give in easily. Male and Manual both lose high profile centers and have capable replacements. SHA returns 9 of their top 10 players. Eastern will continue to be a challenger in the region. I would anticipate several of these teams to be Top 10 to start the year.

Mason will again be very good. Let's just hope the girls come back hungry with a bad taste in their mouths.

In the 16th region both Russell and and East Carter returns almost there whole I think they both just lose 1 player.

Mason County's girls return their full roster next season.

NCC not getting mentioned even though they return 4 starters, yes I know losing Davenport will hurt for sure but some good young talent and by season end should be ready to make a run.

You are close.....

So many variables before the 2016-2017 season starts to make early rankings. I know Sacred heart has most everyone coming back with some really good rising Freshman coming into the program that will bring depth and a post player to the team. If they aren't in the top five, then they are right there looking in at #6.

Thread reads 2016/2017 season favorites. Imo that would be regions or overall state top 5. Not sure why CC/scott/sk are always included in 9th region. All 3 schools will be good again but keep them in the regions they belong in and give 9th regions teams some more prop. Nothing meant by it sorry.
