Since all the local teams are finished. Looking ahead to next year. Who returns the most, or has key players coming in? Who should be the top 5 or so in NKY next season ?

My quick picks

Butler

Mercer Co

Murray

Mason Co

Simon Kenton

Male

Bullitt East

Murray only has 2 seniors so they will be top 3 I'm sure

In NKY next season ?

1. SK

2. Campbell

3. Holmes

4or5. NDA/Highlands

6. HC

The ranking would change if the incoming Freshmen decide to change schools.

I would add Scott to the above list somewhere.

That may be too high for HHS to start the year. May work their way up to that, but they lose a lot and may have a youth movement.

Yes. I'm not 100% about Campbell being better than Holmes, but I would put them all 3 right there. (Including Scott)

Again 3 teams from another region. What is your 9th region top 5?

Given the title of the thread, maybe you should start a new thread with your more specific question.

Thread reads 2016/2017 season favorites. Imo that would be regions or overall state top 5. Not sure why CC/scott/sk are always included in 9th region. All 3 schools will be good again but keep them in the regions they belong in and give 9th regions teams some more prop. Nothing meant by it sorry.

Thread does say"....season favorites". Then the description underneath says NKY.

It's all good though. If you want to discuss a specific topic then start a new thread, it's really simple. Sticking with the thread topic, all three of those schools are in NKY.

1. Butler

2. Male

4. Murray

5. Simon Kenton
