Has 'arrow shooting' replaced the 3 goggles?

Featured Replies

Seen it some in the 10th region tournament and like it. Could not stand the 3 goggles, must have seen that 1000 times over the years and still seeing it(not by players, but by every UK fan on twitter, facebook, people on vacation, at Keeneland,etc.,etc. Personal favorite is still the 'dirty 3' Redick used to flash. Did anyone see much 'arrow shooting' in other regional tournaments?

the funny thing is that no one bats an eye at arrow shooting. If it was gun shooting, they would all be labelled as thugs and gangsters.

Mercers bench has done it all season on Dylan James threes

Only by the liberals

Was told that if a player on the floor does that during state tournament it will result in a Technical foul at the state tournament.

Seems to be more of a bench celebration rather than on court IMO. That's why not as many are upset.

Really? Wow.

I think as long as the player is doing it in a celebratory manner with his team/fans that it s ok....if they are doing it in the face of opposing players then a T is warranted... I sure hope a referee doesn't change a game by displaying poor discretion

I wouldn't call a T unless he was taunting a player. Checked with another official I trust and he said the same. Not automatic.

The couple of times I saw it at the 10th Region tourney, the arrow was directed at the stands.
