March 9, 201610 yr I don't have a link, anyone? And apparently Sanu doesn't like men if the Falcons are interested.
March 9, 201610 yr Smart move by him too. It just how much it sucks that we didn't break through and make a run in the playoffs. It is saying something when we have guys on our team who wants a chance to get more targets since they have so many talented guys in front. Looks like money and mainly more opportunities is what both Jones and Sanu was wanting.
March 9, 201610 yr Author From Bleacher Report, it is speculation: Other teams will have an interest. The Cleveland Browns have come up, according to Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot. So have the Atlanta Falcons, as reported by ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure. But the Titans make the most sense, as they sound willing to pay a little more for a reliable guy like Sanu so that the front office doesn't have to worry about wideout again on draft day with picks that come early in most rounds.

March 9, 201610 yr Well, Hotlanta sure ain't a playoff staple Think about it playoffs is the only thing Jones and Sanu know about. So for them getting more opportunities and targets is what they are looking for.

Ah, I'm not sure that playoffs ever entered their minds. I think caish is the issue. Now I agree, targets = caish, so I agree with the last part
March 9, 201610 yr Author Losing Sanu does not bother me. With Jones gone and Green and Eifert each being fragile, it does bother me.
March 9, 201610 yr With Jones gone and Green and Eifert each being fragile, it does bother me. It bothers me. I'm afraid that you'll end up with quality WR in the fold along with AJ instead of mediocre guys. Just sayin'.
March 9, 201610 yr Author It bothers me. I'm afraid that you'll end up with quality WR in the fold along with AJ instead of mediocre guys. Just sayin'. That would be the ideal outcome. If we get a serious threat opposite AJ look the bleep out.
March 9, 201610 yr Ah, I'm not sure that playoffs ever entered their minds. I think caish is the issue. Now I agree, targets = caish, so I agree with the last part That is my point the playoffs probably didn't enter their mind. They are not players who have never experienced winning and want to win. They want a chance to have money and to be more noticed and have more opportunities to make plays.

March 9, 201610 yr Losing Sanu doesn't bother me either. I know I am in the minority or even the only one on here who really thought it was important to keep Marvin Jones. I think people will see it hurt more losing him than people think. I don't think its a coincidence that two of the Bengals best offenses years in the Bengals history have came when Jones was playing.
March 9, 201610 yr Author The Falcons are indeed in the mix to get receiver Mohamed Sanu, as others have reported. However, a deal is not yet done. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Sanu likely will visit the Falcons. At that point, a contract could be signed. Sanu likely to visit Falcons; deal not done | ProFootballTalk
