Final

Congratulations, Bulldogs! Really, really happy for the good people of Lawrence County!

Tickled to death for the boys from Louisa!

First ever region championship right?

yep,,,,congrats

Congrats to Lawrence County on a well played game and tournament. They were the best team in the region all year and it showed tonight as all 5 starters were in double figures, led by MVP Timmy Dalton with 18 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.

Johnson Central was led in scoring by Mason Blair with 30 points as he made 4 3FG tonight to bring his season total to 111 made (school record). Too much LC tonight for JC as the Golden Eagles cut the lead to 6 in the 3rd quarter but would never get any closer. Good luck to Lawrence at state as I hope they represent the 15th Region well.

^Did anybody not make the all tourney team?

120 total players dressed for the tournament I would assume (15 x 8 teams) so if my math is correct 104 players or thereabouts did not make the all tournament team.

I get what your saying though. The 15th Region has done it this way since 2006. Each quarterfinal team gets 1 player. Each Semifinal team gets 2 players. The runner-ups get 3 players. The champions get 4 players plus an MVP. This is voted on by the media at the event (about 30 ballots total where you must write in the names). No coaches input used.
