March 8, 201610 yr Agree! I don't get that kind of over the top bitterness. :idunno: I don't either. I can't for the life of me figure out why anyone would be bitter about anything said in an online forum. To me, it's all enjoyable. I can't think of one single thing I have read on here in twelve years that has made me miserable or bitter . You righties are way too serious. Try to enjoy life a little more and take things a little less seriously or you are going to perish prematurely.

You should try it sometime.
March 8, 201610 yr No, we just that we understand respect. Never been better about being respectful. You should try it sometime. Yeah, you are probably right, sir. You righties are so respectful in your comments throughout the P&R forums towards those who disagree with you on guns , religion, religion, abortion, etc... You are so profoundly respectful of our President as well. You all definitely understand respect. Got it.

I know the concept is hard for you to understand, but keep working at it, maybe you'll catch up
March 9, 201610 yr Well, I'd like to bring this thread back to Mrs. Reagan's death. President and Mrs. Reagan landed on Air Force One at Bitburg Air Force Base, Germany during 85-86 timeframe. We were able to obtain tickets, and were transferred by bus to the flight line. It was an amazing experience. She loved her husband deeply, and she was tough as nails also. RIP Mrs. Reagan. You were one classy First Lady. Edited March 9, 201610 yr by GaViking
March 9, 201610 yr Classy lady, she will be missed. President Reagan was really the first president that I remember, besides some very vague memories of Jimmy Carter. I remember his assassination attempt and his speech after the Challenger disaster. I also remember Mrs. Reagan being a support at his side. They were good people. I hated it that Alzheimers robbed Pres. Reagan of his last years...and hated it that Mrs. Reagan had to lose him in that way. Very nice post TBG

March 9, 201610 yr I agree that Ms Reagan's love and devotion to the Gipper was undeniable and almost brought a tear to my eyes at times. Almost. Their love seemed to be mutual. All the psychic and million dollar china stuff aside, she did do some good things in raising awareness of the necessity of stem cell research and Alzheimer's.
March 11, 201610 yr Tuned into the funeral for Mrs Reagan. Her son Ron gave a touching tribute and it was followed up by "Amazing Grace." That one gets me every time at a funeral.
