Got to speculate that AD Letcher forgot to take the lid off baskets for 2nd game. If it hadn't been for MoCo Caswll Fuller's slick passing and overall play, this game might have gone into OT with a record double shut out being pitched.

almost forgot...I had the pleasure of adding @jahearme to the list of BGPers I've met.

It seemed to me like every time MoCo needed a big play the ball went to Combs. His best game of the year was today. If they want to keep playing, they have to get better at the FT line. Best part about this game was the Indians realized they can win a game without hitting a 3. As some of you have said, Parsley's defense was big!

This certainly helped, but PC not getting Allen the ball on the floor in spots were he can be successful was a big part of the loss.

Moco played well enough to win, but PC has to do more for Allen to get a touch each possession.

Every trip he didn't get a touch I thought moco inched further away.

Should have played at the Fieldhouse, Montgomery shoots the lights out there. But since Mason is still in it, I am glad it's at Mt. Sterling.

They've shot the ball well pretty much everywhere this year. They were able to get to the basket almost every possession. It seemed like Pendleton's plan may have included not letting the 3 beat them, but Montgomery also didn't force the outside shot. I think they had only attempted 2 or 3 by halftime.

Walker averages making over 3 3's a game and only took 1 or 2 I believe.

This is why/how fuller to combs was so easy and often.

Walker spaces the floor so wide, that driving lanes look like I64.

I was surprised at how disengaged Allen was throughout much of game. Guess his youth worked against him, and as he matures he will learn the great ones work harder without the ball than often with it. Did not run his man into picks to create space. Almost appeared his energy level was lower than what One has seen from him many times before. Another disappearing act in first half (like Mason where he had 2 pts before exploding for 20 in 2nd), that never got untracked. Give a lot of credit to Parsley and MoCo defense.

It was a pleasure to meet you. See you Monday!

How did they guard Allen? Straight up man or zone?

Straight up. Smothered and denied with only two or three instances in 2nd half when he posted up and PC threw over the defender. One rebound a putback comes to mind late in 4th.

yes. Was PC's only 2nd chance basket on the day.

Not sure what game you were watching.

Let's just say the better team won.

Looked like to me that MoCo's defense kept Allen from getting the ball as opposed to his teammates.

I would had liked to see Allen up top running the point instead of in the post for most of the game.
