To be honest I don't think many people know who he is.

 

Disenfranchised voters may unfortunately be more likely to sit it out than do the work required to learn about GJ.

Needs to average at least 15% in the polls first.

 

If Trump and Hilary are nominees, it's not too far fetched that could happen

 

I think any support he would get is just because he is a third option and would have little to do with what he actually stands for.

 

15% of Americans can't name 3 Justices on the Supreme Court, no way that many have ever heard of Gary Johnson or support him for any reason other than he's not HRC or Trump.

 

Snoopy could probably poll 10% against those two.

Gary Johnson is a fiscal conservative and it is proven. For eight years he had a balanced budget. He did this as a Republican governor in a largely Democratic state. He realizes that while everyone wants taxes cut, they usually aren't willing to reduce spending. In our current state you can't have both of them. Johnson wasn't afraid to veto spending bills while Governor.

 

He realizes the War on Drugs is/was a colossal failure and is for the legalization of marijuana.

 

Those are the two main ones that drew me to Gary Johnson but there are many other reasons he will be getting my vote again.

So just work until time to die...that will save a lot of money for the Government.

 

It actually was originally established along those lines. The retirement age was actually several years past the average life expectancy. If we do nothing it will be that way anyway. I'd rather save it so people will get a few years rather than no years.

Agree. His policies will easily tick people off on both sides of the aisle.

How different is he from Kasich? Sounds to be a lot like him.

Depends on what that third party is. Heaven knows all those Green Party voters back in 2000 weren't much help to Mr. Gore.

By that I mean that by voting for a third party with no chance at winning is only hurting the Republican party in your case, since you were never going to vote for Hillary or Bernie anyway...

It works both ways though, lot of people disgusted with all the candidates. For me, yes, for my liberal daughter it's a lost vote for the democrats. Has to start somewhere.
