Armed Carjacking in Fort Mitchell

Featured Replies

Sitting at the traffic light at Buttermilk and Dixie Hwy around that time when the police came into the intersection and went to Remke across the street. Wondered what was happening.

I always tell my wife to look around before getting in and out of her car. And once in, lock doors immediately. Just be aware of who or what is going on around you. Of course, that's not foolproof but every little thing can help I guess. Real sorry the lady had her car taken.

I hate to hear about situations like this involving the elderly. I don't know if she has any children, but if this happened to my mom the person who did this would hope the cops got to them before myself and my brothers

Easy... Always call the Police when you find a bad guy.

Is dark complected black? Sounds like the car would be easy to identify.

That particular Remkes has a very large elderly patronage. It is smaller and easier to navigate. Unfortunately, if you were going to target the elderly, this would be the place to do it.

The stolen vehicle is a 2002 black Toyota Camry with Kentucky license plate 736-THV. It also has a softball-size dent under the rear license plate and missing driver side rear hubcap.

Well, that's nearly every single Camry on the road.:idunno:

I thought the same thing. If you are going to steal a car, that is a good one to choose.

I drive by there every morning on the way to work.
