I clicked on the link it was $279.00

Hmm..That's an even better deal, but it still show's $329 on when I clicked the link again. Kinda odd, unless different stores are offering different prices. It was the Akorn in a cart with a prep area to the right of the grill, not the stand alone unit with two small treys on each side?

Clear your cash money. 279

Hah I even changed my store to see if it changed the price, still shows $329. Which might be a good thing for me because at $279 I might end up with another grill and an earful from the bosslady hah.

I just chose a store in Crescent Springs and it does show $279. Weird.

Edit: Just switched back to my local store in Huntington and it changed the price back to $329. Another reason on a long list as why I don't like WV.

Yeah that's it. A friend of mine has one and it's a great grill. If you get the free time choose a store in the Huntington area and let me know if it shows $329, because that's what it shows me here locally. Either it's a markup, or they are offering a pack of heroin with it, which wouldn't surprise me since the store is in Huntington.

Do you recommend the 3 burner model over the 2 burner model? And is the 2 burner model more expensive?

Definitely 3 burner if you do much offset cooking.

How many grills do you have?

Six

1. An Aussie 205 portable for tailgating.

In Kentucky:

2: Dyna-Glo 4 burner.

3. Akorn

4. Weber Kettle 20 years old but still the best grill ever for doing beer can chicken.

In Florida:

5. Dyna-Glo 4 burner

6. Akorn

I like to cook, and I cook a lot.

And if I rarely, if ever, do any offset cooking?

And I noticed the 2 Burner Dyna Glo weighs more and costs slightly more than the 3 Burner and it should have less parts meaning some of those parts have to be a heavier grade, correct?

Or to be specific, is the 2 Burner Model a higher quality grade than the 3 Burner Model?

Wow!

I'll be enlisting coldweatherfans feedback before my next grill purchase...:lol2:

Heard a rumor that Weber is entering the kamado market...

Then I saw this...

Then I decided to call Weber (5 minutes ago). Told the customer service rep that I had heard rumor that Weber was about to release their 1st kamado into the market. I could immediately tell that I had put him on the spot, and he was squirming. Thought to myself...hmmm, perhaps the rumor is true. So, I flat out told the rep that I was thinking about pulling the trigger on a competitor of theirs.

His response..."If you are about to pull the trigger, I'd strongly encourage you to wait!" I asked, "how long?" He said, "right around the corner." I asked, "is it ceramic?" He simply squirmed and said, "won't be much longer, just wait."

Can't wait to see what's coming!!!
