When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied: 'We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market wind fall profits taxes could go a long way to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'. (Read that quote again and again and let it sink in.) February 26, 201610 yr 93.8% of numbers in chain emails are made up! (This was a fact printed in the Wall Street Journal!) (No, I won't tell you which article or link you to it, sheep!) I'm being a smart aleck, but really, if any of those numbers are real (some might be?) it wouldn't be hard to find. I seem to remember a thread on here before that was almost verbatim this list that included citations to defunct blogs or innuendos from pundits.
February 26, 201610 yr Are the numbers quoted in the article for the county of LA believable? Yeah, probably. Are they accurate? That I don't know. But it's not a stretch for me to think they may very well be pretty close.

Cal seems to be very concerned about catering to illegals at the expense of tax paying citizens. Really amazing and the state is basically bankrupt...and people wonder why Trump struck such a nerve with many people when he starting talking about the wall...

February 27, 201610 yr I have family in the San Diego area. They actually had to move when their children got school aged because the schools in their area spent too much time/money teaching English to their students. On the other hand, I am pretty sure they have paid under the table on many occasions for housekeeping and garden work. I don't know how you get accurate statistics about a group of people who work hard at staying under the radar.
