March 7, 201610 yr Lower percentage of Hispanics and blacks? Just a guess. I'm sure that is one of the main reasons, plus I have heard a lot of people who like his idea of building "the wall", especially since Mexico is going to pay for it.

Trump grabbing white, born-again Christian voters I heard an evangelical leader whose name I can't recall speaking on this over the weekend. He stated that Trump is getting votes from what he called the self-identified evangelicals. He said the "true evangelicals" (church every Sunday, etc) are voting for Cruz and have made it clear they will not vote for Trump because of his background. They won't vote for Hillary either. His opinion is this far right evangelical group will not vote in the fall at all if it is Trump vs Clinton.
