Final from Olive Hill.

Anyone have stats on this game?

West Carter is looking like a threat in the 16th

Go Comets! Couldn't make this one but great job guys!

Big win for the Comets

16th region will be interesting here in the next couple of weeks...

Heck the 62nd is going to be interesting next week. Elliott's gym will have a hard time getting everyone in.

Here is the breakdown of the 62nd games this season:

East Carter- 0-2 v. Elliott Co.

1-2 v. Morgan Co.

1-2 v. West Carter

West Carter-2-1 v. East Carter

2-1 v. Morgan Co.

1-1 v. Elliott Co.

Morgan Co.- 2-1 v. East Carter

2-0 v. Elliott Co.

1-2 v. West Carter

Elliott Co.- 2-0 v. East Carter

1-1 v. West Carter

0-2 v. Morgan Co.

This means Morgan & Elliott will play each other in the first round. The two teams that played for the Regional title last year.

Does anyone know when the 62nd is meeting? They are the only district in the 16th Region whose not set their tournament. I assume they were waiting for this game surely it's tomorrow. Their tourn. should start in 5 days.

I think that's how it goes. Makes for a great tournament.

According to Tim Carper, "a couple of Morgan County fans" were escorted from the gym in the late stages of the game.

Not sure if it was 2 fans but I know Randy tossed one fan for sure after a Sparkman foul followed immediately a technical on Prater.

Close Stats

Ben Jordan 17 and 9

Someone on West had about 16 rebounds

Perry I believe scored in the low 30's

62nd already had their meeting. Just had to wait until this game and if Morgan was going to ever makeup the Elliott game. Bet Morgan now wished they played it.

If this district seeds and did not play a seeded game, KHSAA rules state both teams will take a loss. Is this what happened?

Very hard to pick a team to win 16th. Their are 5-6 team`s that could win it. Should be very interesting ! And since I`m such a Morgan Co / Jordan Perry hater...LOL ... nice win for West.
