What kids are not playing basketball at Highlands. Do Highlands supporters get on here and bash NCC football and/or baseball? Some of this stuff is laughable as you say. At least know the facts before you go talking about something. There are no kids walking the halls at Highlands High School not playing basketball that should be. Most of the seniors played AAU basketball up through and including their frosh year. The difference is that football became their number sport and apparently they must have been good enough at it to compete at the next level.

 

Big difference comparing a team of basketball only kids with a team that is comprised mostly of multiple sport athletes.

 

The argument about beating Holmes and CovCath is a weak one IMO. They were more than good enough these last few years to not only win the region, but make a nice advancement in the Sweet 16. And as the old saying goes, you got to beat the best at some point in time in order to achieve your goals.

I was at the game and what i seen was two teams not shooting very well. NCC wasnt blowing Highlands out until the 4 they where only up 8 going into the 4th. But at no time during the game did i feel that NCC was in trouble of losing the game. Highlands has alot of athletes very quick and physical but not basketball skilled. NCC has a nice mix of physical athletes and some very skilled basketball players.

It was referenced that at that time the lead swelled from a manageable 10 point cushion to a much less manageable 17 point cushion. I will be glad to test my knowledge of anything with you and the other two that like your silly post any day any time.

You sure you were at the game. It was 47 to 32 at the end of 3. That's 15 not 8 big difference. I agree at no point did anybody think NewCath was going to lose this game.

Another know it all I see. What was the halftime score? What was the deficit at the time of the "T"? Never mind, don't bother. So you don't think Ben Weyer would have had a major impact in that game if he was playing for Highlands rather than for NCC? Glad to see your buddy chime in with a "like" because the soccer boys stick together now don't they?

 

If being down 10 is not in the game then maybe you should stick to watching that soccer ball more.

 

I don't understand why You bring Weyer going to NCC up for a 4th straight year, maybe not you individually, but it's always brought up. The kid chose the Catholic school. Your point about Weyer being on your team instead of NCC's is irrelevant and a sad attempt to compare the two programs... Smh
