Newport Central Catholic 70 Highlands 48

You are very good at raising nonsensical questions. When you refer to 44 in white, I don't think the jersey number or color makes much difference. Also, your subsequent post about the game, are you kidding me? "they were in the game for 2 1/2 quarters" They were not in the game for any quarters. One kid who could hit 3s, and subsequently acted like he was some kind of star, does not close the 10, 15 or 20 point gap that existed throughout most of the game. Your perception is distorted and I feel no facts will get in the way of that.

Another know it all I see. What was the halftime score? What was the deficit at the time of the "T"? Never mind, don't bother. So you don't think Ben Weyer would have had a major impact in that game if he was playing for Highlands rather than for NCC? Glad to see your buddy chime in with a "like" because the soccer boys stick together now don't they?

If being down 10 is not in the game then maybe you should stick to watching that soccer ball more.

Those records are indeed very impressive. The key is being able to keep the "core" of each of those classes so that you are able to build back the program. Just let kids be kids and allow them to be the best athlete that they can be in all sports. It's great to hear the pipeline is loaded. As a former grad of Highlands it's good to see the younger teams having success.

I love me some "Dags" @deronblasingame

Lol. Been a long time since I heard that. Good to hear that the younger grades are coming along. I hear the gym looks nice. Maybe they ought to bring some of the old timers back for a pick up game for halftime amusement.

This sure lends some validity to the "easily offended" comment that someone else threw out there.

Or maybe we can get you to buy a Legacy Locker in the New Football Locker room. You know it is the house that you helped build.....:thumb:

Yep, you got it all figured out.

Good call. As soon as a certain Brotha ponies up, I'll be more than happy..

I for one want to see that. Need to make sure that Fort Thomas paramedics are on call as are Newport, Bellevue/Dayton, Covington and other surrounding cities because everyone isn't walking out of there in one piece.

I couldn't agree with you more.

Comedy halftime show. If the Birds aren't packing the place for BB games right now maybe a little amusement for the locals would help till they turn the corner.

My question is why is Weyer at NewCath?

New Cath is the better team for sure but let's not act NCC is some basketball powerhouse.

Past 4 years they have.

Well they have been pretty darn good over the many years that they have been in existence. The thing I did not really realize is that they have only won the region 3 times? Is that correct?
