2019 Jack Kaelin NKY Freshman Invitational Tourney

I think he has played down most of the year... Greene was the only one that had been exclusively JV was my understanding.

This will be a nice tournament. The is a lot of parity, but I think Covcath stands out. it pains me to say that, but if you are realistic, they get the nod. The only other team that can compete with them is Campbell, but they have other commitments to the 10th region. You might be able to win the lottery than predict a freshman outcome. Good luck to everyone!

I heard Beechwood has pulled their two stud 8th graders up? How have they been doing at the freshman level

10th region games are on the same day that this one starts

Does the 10th region have frosh regional tourney, or are they regular season games?

Making the the favorite I have no problem with... Saying no one can compete with them is incorrect. Campbell beat them, they have not played Walton, and Holy Cross led most of the game against them. Teams certainly can compete with them

IMO Walton V with their big guy back can and will compete with anyone. CovCath is very deep and with Coldiron back they will be a very tough out. Holy Cross has some size and Houston cleans up the boards and is terrific around the basket. They need better play from their guards though to beat the other 2.

Covcath will have too much for wv with coldiron back. An Holy Cross may struggle to get out of the game with Holmes.

So Holmes is bringing down Lawrence?

Brooks and Lawrence have been primarily freshman all season and simply dressed and seen spot minutes here and there at the JV level.

I assume Greene's minutes have gone down at the JV level and that is why he is now playing freshman. With him, Holmes has a legit chance to get to the finals. Greene, Brooks, and Lawrence are one of the better freshman trios in the region.

Well, and to my point, Campbell isn't in it and they beat everyone else.

No Freshman Regional in 10th

Did Campbell play Walton?

Holmes is better with Greene, CovCath is better with Coldiron, and Beechwood is better with Jefferson playing up. I think I see a lot more parity than some because I expect most of the games in this tourney to come down to the last couple of possessions. We shall see.

No, but I would like to see that game. It would be interesting.

Yes, it's the 10th region tourney. Starts the same day

I would have liked to see The Camels in this tourney as well. They have a solid team.
