I read this thread title while still a bit foggy after just waking, and my initial reaction was WHAT???!!!

 

Of course within a couple of seconds it made sense, but I thought "whew", and pondered what other way it perhaps could have been presented, but then realized that I'm just experiencing a slower brain due to aging.

 

Was anybody else initially caught off guard, or am I the only goof ball?

Congrats to Ethan and his family. The kid has put in a lot of hard work in the gym and will have a very nice career.

He is a polite and fine young man, and I'm really happy for him. Spent a fair amount of time with him this summer at the Blacktop League (he was a ref), and was really impressed.

Good for Ethan. I really think a lot of this kid. As has been said, he has a great work ethic and loves the game. He also is one tough kid with a very positive attitude.

Congrats to Ethan... I'm a little disappointed because I've been talking to one of my assistant coaches who have been recruiting him and I was looking forward to him being in the same program as me over the next few years!

 

But regardless, I am happy for Ethan and his family and I hope they find what they are looking for in Urbana. It's a neat little campus. :thumb:

Can't believe I missed this. Been watching this kid for years and love his game. I'm not sure I've ever met a kid who works as hard as him

Ethan is averaging 5 PPG in 10 minutes per game thus far. Shooting 43% from 3.
