Patriots 27 Chiefs 20

Just like every game, Patriots do exactly what they have to do to advance.

I think with Manning (getting old before our eyes) and Big Ben (injured and missing weapons) the Patriots are going to stroll back to the Super Bowl.

I agree in general but what the heck were the Pats doing throwing the ball on second down at the end? If the Bengals did that, people would be going crazy on here. Unbelievably lucky that (1) it was not picked and (2) it went right to a Pats receiver.

Those things always go that way for them.

What I like about this? That the really obnoxious guy at work who thinks he knows more about football than anyone was wrong about the Chiefs winning the Superbowl. He has been talking for weeks and was really obnoxious about it when talking to others...putting the others down, pulling out napkins with some sort of scrawl on it and presenting at proof...I really wouldn't have cared if they did win, except for him.

Having Edelman out there makes all the difference in the world.

Night and day difference on offense this game compared to the last handful.

For all that injury talk all week, ole Gronk sure looked healthy to me.

I don't really see much of an issue with going to Denver next Sunday. The Pats are far superior offensively and with Manning having no ability to go down-field I look for Patricia to stack the box and make him have to take shots. Should result in turnovers.

I'm with you. Let's be honest, this is the Pats to lose. The AFC set up perfectly for them. While KC is nice, did anyone really believe? Now you have maybe two of the greatest of all time at their positions (Brady and Gronk) playing at a high level going to take on a half arm Manning. Brady has traditionally performed poorly in Denver, but Manning has performed poorly all season.

Now don't get me wrong, a loss wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. I just don't think it happens. Two years ago in Denver they lost in the AFC title game and then earlier this year they had a 14 point lead in the 4th out there before fumbling it away (literally), and that game was without Edelman. I think they'll be prepared and looking for revenge.

If the Patriots don't win, I'll be very surprised. Having Gronk and Edelman back is huge for them. If Edelman played the last game in Denver, this game would be at New England IMO.
