Honestly I'm surprised there was only one technical/intentional. What was that one all about couldn't see from my sit?

I was sitting with Clyde and two others, and NONE of us saw it.....we were all watching the man trying to inbounds the ball. Texting one of the refs from this game to get an explanation.

Just like that I got our answer on the intentional foul..........."making a non-basketball play away from the ball."....in other words "bear hug".

Fun game tonight, congrats HC on another solid win.

What crew had tonight's game?

Jason Reineke

Charlie Chappie

Tony Pompilio

What's does this mean?

I'm

At every CCH game, but I don't pansie around the truth.

I have read your quotes and talks for the the last few months - be honest, that's all.

And if you think your being honest - then so bet it, but it's wrong tonight.

Like I said, if you want me to stop talking I'm easy to find to talk about it.

If your a referee, doing a varsity game, why are you at the gym for the freshman game? In addition, if perhaps he decided he wanted to watch some basketball, why stand next to the HC bench, yucking it up with the HC people, go sit in the stands and watch. Seemed rather odd to me and my friend.

Much ado about nothing. Refs always sit down there because that's the entry to their dressing room.

Did a nice job. Not an easy one to work with all of the action at the rim.

I only know one of them and don't want to call him out, just thought it was very unprofessional. Maybe this is standard practice to show up so early, but I don't see why.

Varsity refs are always there early. What possibly could be the harm of showing up early?

I've said it before. A balanced scoring CCH team can be dangerous. On the other hand, if all the shots run thru only CVH they can be beat. CCH has plenty of players capable of scoring in Flood, Fredrick, Mayer, lenhoff, Ruthsatz, etc. sometimes they just don't get many shots. I would say Fredrick is shooting a higher % than anyone on the team. Lenhoff also shoots well. Coach Ruthsatz will make some adjustments. Also, congrats to Holy Cross and Ryan Schrand on another quality win. HC has really surprised a lot of people this year! Gonna be a great 9th region tournament this year!

What a great game to watch and great atmosphere. You needed a shoe-horn to get another soul in the Finn tonight, and I have to agree with Clyde, no better environment for a heated high school rivalry game than a HS gym.

As Clyde said, Holy Cross won with 5 and a half players........however, they got the "W" and that's all that matters. Congrats to the Indians.

Bezold with a strong game, but you can tell he was running on empty late in the 4th.

CVH kept the Blue Colonels in this one all by himself, Holy Cross had no one to guard him when he wanted to go to the rack.

The silent killer tonight was Holy Cross's Derrick Barnes, 14 huge points, all on the back door variety. He missed his 1st shot of the night, and BADLY, but connects on his next 7. He also had some really strong rebounds. BTW, you can tell by looking at him that he is a football player....YIKES!

They show up at 430 for a 730 game? The ones I have seen usually show up during JV game! Do they typically go stand by the bench of the home team and fraternize? It is 430, if the guy wants to show early, go sit in the stands, no need to head to get ready until JV game.

I don't want to put words in your mouth so I'll qualify this with a big IF.

If you are thinking that CVH was selfish tonight we'll completely disagree.

1. He had no one who could stop him from getting inside. Killed Bezold.

2. Rough night for Flood so you couldn't run anything through him.

3. Mayer got quite a few shots and did well.

4. CJ got tentative for a while after a strong start. CVH had to take over and that's one of the reasons.

CVH played one of his best games I've seen in a while and led a team that needed to be led tonight.

Intentional foul. Not a T.

Your right, I'll correct that....trying to type and eat at the same time.
