From comments that I have heard it has more to do with the nuns' lack of interest / understanding of the athletic program. It certainly adds something (not sure if it is mystic or misery) during the summer months though.

It may be in the "long range" plans. They are currently surveying folks to see what are priorities. AC falls in with adding a track and soccer field.

NDA scrimmages NCC on August 3 from 6:00-9:00 at NDA. If you come to watch be ready to sweat. No air in NDA's gym.

 

NDA also scrimmages Lakota West H.S. on August 12 at 10:00-1:00.

Camels took 3 out of 4 against Ryle tonight...no details....

Conner beat Highlands easily. Wells and Bristow pounded the ball. Only details I have. I will get the scores later today.

I think it was Conner 25-17, 25-21, 21-13 (played 15 minutes at end)

Wells and Bristow looked tough. It looked liked Highlands just couldn't get their offense going.

We lost 3 of 4 to NDA. They played 20 minute running games. Score was not kept on board so I'm not sure of exact scores but first one was about 26 - 19, second game wasn't very close, third was very tight maybe 25 - 22, NDA and NCC took 4th game by about 6 or so.
