Trying to find out any upcoming dates and times for scrimmages that the various schools in NKY may be having over the next couple of weeks. Would appreciate any info that could be provided. I do know that Ludlow will be at Walton for a scrimmage on Aug 1 starting I believe at 4:30pm and at home on Aug 5th (9:00am-11:00am) against Brossart..

Highlands is at Campbell County on August 1st and at Conner on August 3rd.

Simon Kenton at Beechwood July 31st, JV and Varsity at 6 and 7:00 p.m.

 

Dixie at Beechwood August 3rd, same times.

Zig, why doesn't Ludlow have scrimmages with times that are working- parent friendly? Those scrimmages would be very difficult for many parents to attend.

The Walton scrimmage (Aug 1) is going to start either from 5 to 7 pm or 6 to 8 pm. Still waiting on word from Walton what time they want us there and the Aug 5th scrimmage against Brossart from 9am to 11am is on a Saturday (at Ludlow) and I would think that is about as friendly you can be for parents:confused: ..Weekday scrimmages are scheduled in large part after 5 to make sure that officials can get there.

St. Henry website shows a scrimmage with Holy Cross (Cov) on 8/3 at SHDHS.

 

ND usually scrimmages NCC but I don't know if and when this year. NCC's website has regular season schedule posted but not scrimmages and NDA's website has no vball schedules posted.

Ther Walton scrimmage will start at 5:00pm for the freshmen and then the varsity will play at 6:00pm and the JV will follow after the varsity. Scrimmage is at Walton.

SK won the Freshman and JV matches in two. Beechwood Varsity won 3/3. Good matches. Beechwood's Lauren Snyder is definately on top of her game.

I heard that the temperature in the gym last week reached 115. It will be over 100 on 8.3 - even at 6:00.

Never been in the gym, but it seems to be legendary for being the hottest around. In all these years, has no one donated a fan or two?

They have fans to move the air but they aren't very effective at reducing the temperature. The building also has very few windows to let heat out. I had heard that there was an offer to donate A/C for the facility but the administration had declined.
