Petrino did the same thing at UL to Brad Durham at Rockcastle. Was good too since he ended up at UK and started for 3 yrs and never lost to UL. I think they beat Ark too his Sr yr while Petrino was there too.

Verbal commit by either party isn't worth much. If you haven't signed the dotted line then don't cross anyone off of your list...ever. Hard lesson for anyone but the reality of the coaching carousel in college football today.

Right on, the info is correct but most players in this area will get much better offers that apsu. I know they have upset the coaching fraternity in wky and it will be hard to recruit this area in the future as this bunch is very close.

If I was that kid and my high school coach steered me there and then told me to not listen to anyone else, I would have a hard time trusting the high school coach again.

It will be a long time before apsu is allowed in the halls of cchs trying to get students to attend that great school.of higher learning.

So people are upset about a Punter getting their scholarship pulled by one of the worst FCS schools in the country. And supposedly now the coaches aren't going to let APSU recruit their kids? I guess they aren't players first...

....it's not too difficult to get on the horn, send out the bat signal, email, text, and communicate to other schools in the region that this very good punter is looking for a "new fit!"

 

I'd like to think this young man and his sphere of influence are doing just that! Leave the spilt milk in aisle 8 and move on...

I guess now that the Craft kid needs to focus on getting a chance to play at a better school such as Murray or WKU, even as a walk-on, or get a scholarship at a lower level school such as Campbellsville or Kentucky Wesleyan. If he is good as advertised, Western or Murray will find a way for him to be on scholarship.

They have punters.

Real bad timing as most school.have their team set this time of year. Hard to find a school that will.give a kicker a.schlorship

Kid is a great person and it is sad that this school did this to him. Will be hard for him to find a school with a need for a punter this late in the game. Guess the P will have another winless season with these type of decisions, nothing any better going on!

If this kid is as good of a punter as advertised it won't matter if schools already have one. You take the best available player.
