You really think we will lose to Bourbon? Here are our next 6 games:

Paris...could go either way

Madison Southern..Should be another good match up, but winnable.

Bourbon...Think GRC will win

Harrison Co...think they will win this one too.

MoCo...huge district and rival game. IMO who is hitting the 3's wins this game. Should be a great one.

Dixie Height...IF they are tall and Physical like in the past, they will give GRC problems.

We do not play a cupcake schedule. Scott is preparing the team for post season.

We have one Sophomore that starts and the rest get lots of PT as Scott will play 10+ players a game. Not worried about their playing time at all, I am just thrilled that Jenkins now gives us another big body to compete.

Well deserved. Thrilled for him.

Agree.

I can see this, but the MoCo game is a tossup IMO. Will for sure be a battle.

You take the scoring away from 1 of these kids Jyles or Jordan and they lose every game like I said. The bigs can score all they want but you know it's not gonna be like that game in and out. Let's watch and see how we pair up with Paris. Be nice to see how Davis does against his old team.

Next 6....

Paris - struggling, if they dont get things straightened out you win. 50/50

Madison south - 50/50

Bourbon - playing much better than their record. 50/50

Harrison - win

Moco - loss this time.

Dixie - loss

I'll say 3 and 3. Anything above 3 wins and GRC is realling improving, and anything below they are going the wrong direction.

Paris will be ready and like to watch to see what Davis does to our guards on defense, Bourbon is better than most think, Madison Southern will play a well scouted game and take away what we do and Scott will get out coached, Harrison is 50/50, Montgomery we could win if we rattle them with Defense but if they got all 6 going we are in trouble and Dixie we will win with them losing James to transfer to Mercer.

Coaches scout teams and they know you take Andersen or Menchen out the scoring column then we lose. Look at he stats people and you will see.

It is a great shame and a dishonor to the Cardinals that individuals use this forum as a sounding board to tear down GRC Basketball!

Why didn't Mullins play for Newport?

Walked out at halftime of the previous game.

What the heck!!!!! Any details on this.......anyone? @BigDaddy6

Kid threw a temper tantrum that got out of hand and involved some language that the head coach didn't appreciate...all there really is to "report."

...

Someone mentioned to me he got in fist fight with another player on the team during halftime.

James didn't transfer from Dixie, he came from the 15th region to his current Mercer co team.

My mix up TexasRanger it was Sheldon Clark he transferred from.

Thanks, just NOW reading the other thread.

No.

If Mullins played GRC gets the lose....hands down

If what I heard Mullins did, he is no longer playing basketball at Newport or anywhere in NKY. Obviously not just a "temper tantrum" that led to him being escorted from the premises.
