January 2, 201610 yr Just watched a Sci-Fi movie called Ex Machina. Probably the best artificial intelligence movie I've seen. Definitely recommend it. Huge fan of Ex Machina. One of the better movies I saw last year.

January 4, 201610 yr Yesterday I watched The gift--pretty solid The intern--didn't get to finish it, but so far just OK Tomorrow in Hong Kong - pretty cute, about a girl in the toy industry on a business Trip to Hong Kong ( sounds kinda familiar for some reason) The Martian- pretty good, almost felt like a true story. It was a long plane ride.
January 4, 201610 yr And I watched "Blindside" again a couple of days ago. Always a good watch foe me. I read an article after the movie came out that talked about how Leann exploited Oher to reap financial benefits because the food franchises were not able to keep up with her lifestyle. Oher himself isn't a big fan of the movie because it makes him out to be dumb.
January 6, 201610 yr Author Recently watched a couple: Freedom, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. Movie was about Cuba's character and family using the underground railroad to escape slavery, while also flash backing to his ancestors coming over on a slave ship that was captained by the man who wrote Amazing Grace. Good but not great. You want a great movie along these lines, watch Amistad. Rush, starring Chris Hemsworth. I'm not usually one to like racing movies to much but I enjoyed this one. It was about the rivalry between Formual One drivers, James Hunt & Niki Lauda.

January 24, 201610 yr Author Watched Out of the Furnace with Christian Bale. Nothing special about this one. Woody Harrelson did a good job with his character.
February 15, 201610 yr Recently watched the Intern and liked it, good cast and a feel good movie. Really liked St Vincent with Bill Murray and Mellisa McCarthy, a little different for a Bill Murray movie but good. Then I was looking thru on demand and settled on Definitely Maybe, an older Ryan Reynolds film that I have seen a few times and enjoyed again.
