Interesting scenario I just found out....If the Bengals lose Sunday, they will get a 1st round bye if Denver also loses, even though Denver beat Cincinnati head to head. This is all assuming the Chiefs win.

So, how close is Dalton anyway? Is that info out there and I missed it?

Sorry - poor choice of words. Strike "relax" from my last post. I was channeling my inner Aaron Rodgers. I have found your posts rationale and you to be a very reasonable fan. My retorts have been made in jest at the Black & Gold contingent that is far less reasonable.

 

However, I would very much like the chance to see the Steelers in the playoffs. Why not? Great theater and if the Bengals win, it will be fun on BGP.

Indications are he is still at least a couple weeks away. I think the first round is a real stretch.

It's no secret that they're gonna have to outscore you. It's how they're built, sadly. Manziel put up 370, Mallet put up nearly 300, and the list goes on.

That is correct. If Denver loses & the Chiefs win, the Bengals get the 2-seed regardless of their game. This is because KC would win the AFC West & would be tied with Cincy. Cincy owns the tiebreaker since the Bengals beat the Chiefs earlier this year, thereby giving the #2 seed to Cincinnati.

Don't see the O laying another egg, they've been serious this year overall and really clicking the past month or so. Cleveland may very well score points but I still think Pittsburgh outscores them. The key is Buffalo.
