Some teams play better on the road and some play better at home. Some teams are so outmatched it doesn't matter where they play, they're not going to beat a more powerful team.

 

I think home court comes into play most when dealing with crowd/student sections (like CovCath) or in a tournament where there are back-to-back games or even back-to-back-to-back games. The home team not having to travel as much has an advantage there IMO.

 

NEVER saw this in high school. Home advantage doesn't mean a win but it is an advantage as you explained in the 2nd paragraph.

You know Paris as well as anyone. Do you think they are playing as well as they were to start the season?

No sir...a lot of testosterone in the locker room...kids having to accept their roles...definitely sluggish over the holidays.

Not to mention, he is probably the calmest coach on the sidelines in the 10th!

These last 2 games Brooks has not had control like he should. Very sloppy play by the hounds

Tourney is at Moco and will give them the advantage.

Yes I had forgot about that, thanks for reminding me. Will give us both the advantage. Only two can advance to the Regional....who will it be? The important thing is to get the top seed for the district and let the 2nd and 3rd battle it out on who is going.
