After spending four complete days at the KOB, I was fortunate enough to see some of the top teams and players in the state. List goes as follows...

1) Carson Williams

2) David Sloan

3) Tyler Sharpe

3) Jacob King

5) Quentin Goodin

1. Romeo Langford- New Albany (Ind.). This kid is a future NBA player and is a top 20 soph. in the country. 6'5 and is smooth. His fifth ranked Bulldogs visit Frankfort on Jan. 9 to play Lex. Dunbar.

2. Carson Williams- Owen County. Seen this kid 5 games and he's so much fun to watch. I compare him to a poor man's Bill Walker. Best dunker I've seen @ the h.s. level in yrs. The team is also pretty good too.

3. Tyler Sharpe- Bullitt East. I just go to see him @ the KOB but he's the real deal. Deff. the kind of player that can lead his team to a state title in March.

4. Kyle Guy- Lawrence Central (Ind.). Indiana's Mr. Basketball front runner has signed with Virginia. He also visits Kentucky on Jan. 9. They play @ Taylor County with Ind. Cathedral, Taylor County, and Fern Creek.

5. Quentin Goodin- Taylor County. I just saw him 1 game @ the KOB. He got to the basket whenever he wanted and will really thrive in college.

I have seen nothing but Beechwood games this year, but Zack Pulliam from Harrison County is very good.

4. Caleb Taylor- South Laurel

5. Tony Jackson- North Hardin

 

After last night i would add Lovan from Franklin Simpson to my number 4 spot and drop Taylor and Jackson down.

Seen most teams from Lexington/ Louisville to NKY... Haven't seen western ky or mountain regions

Also I want to add that Gooden is also a close 5.... Also King #23 from LCA and #44 from Scott County have also impressed me!

Statman, I just read on Bluegrass prep that Allen is out for Pendleton Co for medical issues. So will not get to see him play.
