Attorney Calls For LA Sheriffs To Be Charged With Murder

Maybe they were scared. After all, they felt like they just saw one officer shoot the other then watched both officers execute an unarmed suspect and lie about it.

If that's what they thought went down don't you think there's a good chance they might have been scared to come forward?

If nothing else the officers lied about what went down and how the one officer was shot. I don't think that is in dispute, is it? What happens to any other citizen that files a bogus police report and gets caught?

I never said that was in dispute.

As to the bold, not much. It's a misdemeanor.

I've been wrong on several bgp threads based on video evidence.

I'll wait for the whole story/evidence to come out before I cast my stone.

You're right though. Let's just go ahead and convict without an investigation and charges being filed.

I agree 100%! No matter what, no matter how obvious either way, there should be an investigation.

If you or I accidentally shoots someone we are working with I'm pretty sure both of us will say something on the lines of "I'm sorry" right away, letting it be known we did it by mistake.

You mentioned Ferguson as well, yes there needed to be an investigation, but from the very beginning I said that officer had the right to shoot.

I'll say this again, there are over 1 million LEO's in this country, most people will say that 99% are good people. Let's go with that number for a second, that 1% is 10,000 LEO's, is it a high amount? Yes. But it's not a high percentage. That number very well could be lower than 10,000, but no one is saying all 10,000 would go out and kill an innocent person.

Same was with Muslims, the very few percentage wise do not represent the overwhelming majority of the good ones out there. And just as with main stream Muslims, good LEO's would want the very few bad ones exposed and out of the career.

But, after the investigation we will all know at least most of what went on.

I hope LRCW doesn't see your post. He will pull out his "you must be a blast at parties" line on you.

If it isn't in dispute then shouldn't it be a big deal in a case where a person lost their life and an officer was injured? I'd hope that you wouldn't want officers like that out there on the job.

Wait a minute hold on. Didnt they do an initial investigation when this happened? Did they not find out the the bullet that hit the cop came from the other officers gun? What am I missing?

Who's gun is that laying on the ground to the left of the guy they are trying to arrest at around the 1:50 mark. Both Officers have their guns? Is that the suspects gun?

Yes, they've know since 2014 that one deputy shot the other one.

Deputy Accidentally Shot By Partner During Fatal Takedown Of Suspect In Compton « CBS Los Angeles

Deputies said a second struggle occurred when they caught up to the suspect a second time. During the struggle, the man allegedly tried to take one of the deputy’s guns. This resulted in both deputies firing their weapons at the suspect, who, they said was also armed with his own hand gun. The suspect was struck by their gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene.

During the struggle, one of the deputies was shot once in torso. The deputy was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery. He is now recovering at home, according to the LASD.

A gun was recovered from the scene.

Does the video dispute anything said in this news story from 2014?

One Deputy shoots the other one...on video and on police report

There is a struggle...that's on the video.

There is another gun...also seen on video and listed on the report.

Video doesn't show what was happening on the bottom of the pile, no way to know if he was going for or had a hold of one of their guns.

Investigator from the District Attorney's office was on the scene and conducted his own investigation separate from anything the Police did.

Omar Ruiz videoed the incident and reading his description of the incident and a description of his video he may have been at nearly the same angle from an adjoining second floor apartment as the video posted above. With his permission investigators downloaded his video and have had it since the incident.

Here is the link to the official report in case you didn't see it in the original link...https://photographyisnotacrime.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Noel-Aguilar-Wrongful-Death-Report.pdf
