When you have had Boyle's success, what designates far? And what is deemed good?

 

I know at Trinity, losing in Round 3 or 4 is not necessarily a good thing, and no one gets praise for it, I would think at Boyle, the same would be true.

Comparing T and Boyle is ridiculous.

I think for most Rebel fans they would say Boyle does not have to go deep into the playoffs to be a success (Simi's or Finals). Heck not to long ago just having a winning season was a success. I would like to see atleast a Regional Championship, but if they don't I still will stand behind the kids for whatever season they might have had. If some kid was to not get praised for getting beat in the 3rd. or 4th. round in a season, I'd say Shame on you!

 

I think for the most part we Rebel fans aren't spoiled, and have to be in Louisville every season to have it count as a success. For myself I have the memories of 5 straight Titles to last me for a life time. Anything else would be consider GRAVY.

Never count Boyle out, they will always be in the top ten. Being a Highlands fan you have to respect tradition.

Not too long ago we didn't even have a biscuit to put that gravy on but we still supported our kids. Anyone would have to be completely stupid to say that we didn't want wins and championships - who wouldn't. What some people have to understand that for some of us fans wins aren't the most important thing. Our kids are very important to us and win or lose we will always stand behind them. I wish the best for our boys this year and I also wish the best for all the kids who work their hearts out for their teams. Great Post Rebel:thumb:

Ashland should be top 10 every year. Ashland still has an industrial and construction trades base. This combined with alot of people with many resources should produce endless talent. Ashland needs to recommit up and down all levels to tough minded , hard nose football. Ashland could become an "Ironton" if they will focus blocking , tackling and runnin it right at someone.

Lex Cath should be about 4th-8th right now. With so many key spots gone from last year the team has gaps to fill. Luckily they have plenty of great players to help. I just think with the senior leadership that left last year defensively and offensively, it will take a few weeks to get up and running full throttle. Shane Israel will need to be huge early until a QB emerges. Also wonder how smooth the change will be with a new head coach and some assistants. Like I said give the team five weeks, than hopefully they will be running alright.
