Maroon, the BG fan base respects champions and other peoples accomplishments because we know how hard you have to work to achieve them and how fast it can all go away.

There's a mentality in certain places that you have to tear other people down to make yourself feel better or make your team look better. We don't have to do that. If BG is lucky enough to win Saturday it will be sweeter to have beaten a great opponent.

Pulaski fans: speaking for myself, I did not give much credit to your team before the start of this season. Mainly, I was still in shock of BG laying an egg last year (still can't believe it). I had predicted at beginning of season for Highlands to beat you. Watching you guys this year I have realized that offensively you are legit. I have a deeper respect for the Maroons and know you are capable of beating us.

 

All that to say, you are better than I thought!

 

It will be a great game. My feelings are that our offense will score at or near our average and am hoping our defense can make some much needed stops.

 

Purples are 68-3 in last 71 games. Offensively, Pulaski will be in top 3 of our last 71 games, so the Purples better be ready.

I didn't realize comparing someone to the Highlands fan base would be so offensive. I think there is a confidence that comes through when a program has been successful for a long period, old money so to speak. I can "hear" that in posts from both groups. Owensboro is probably the best by far and they would get a running clock on them playing Scott Co or any good 6A team. I think BG is good, but still really unproven, we'll see Saturday. Really, no offense or anything. I just think PC has proven more, and its best to get your proving done before the state game.

The world doesn't revolve around Highlands and no, Pulaski hasn't accomplished more this year so far.

That semi finalist 6a team listed as a great team played some terrible teams to get there and got lit hard against Male. St X, yeah beat Highlands, wow, a lot of team did this year. St X was no great team to get beat up by.
