doomer
Thanks for asking. I am getting better every day. Most of the bruising is going away and mobility gets better every day. I still am told not to raise my elbow far from my side....but it moves a bit on its on. :sssh: The wounds are still sensitive and getting itchy. I can start therapy in two weeks. It sounds like you are doing really well.
SportsGuy41017
So after I last posted I took a nap and woke up to some discomfort in the biceps, the pain is about how it was pre-surgery. Do once I get off of the ice machine I'll be stretching.
SportsGuy41017
Well, fell asleep for just over an hour this morning with my ice machine on, too long of a period using ice isn't a good thing. :/ So I took a couple of percicet as my arm was hurting from the ice and wow! I am still feeling the effects and that was about 6 hrs ago.
Sportsaholic Mamaw
If your ice machine is like mine, you can customize how cold to make it as your pain and swelling leave. Sounds like you have done really well and good to hear it.
mcpapa
Had surgery this morning. Damage was more extensive than thought. In addition to born spurs, had a complete RC tear, damaged cartilage and damage to the biceps tendon. No doubt caused by the stress of my massive biceps.:lol2: Good news, feel great after surgery... No sore throat etc. pain is tolerable due to good pharmacology and ice. I wouldn't want to handle anything sharp right now, ha. So, on to next phase soon. :thumb: A cross we have to bear.
