I guess AreLinz was one of those two poor sports that walked off the field without shaking hands after the game.

Meh, refs have very little, if anything to do with the outcome of a playoff game. Especially when the final is 48-28.

Class A has played out like most thought all year in that there are 3 outstanding teams and 1 pretty good team left.

 

Paris had a fine year but the lack of a really good team on the schedule probably did not help them to prepare for this game.

 

Paintsville/Pikeville winner will likely meet Beechwood in a final that should be a dandy.

I was really pulling for Paris. I love the town and the school. I didn't watch the game, but I don't think Paintsville needed any help in this game. They have one heck of a team. Congrats to them. Paris get into the weight room and get ready for next year.

Agreed. Paris has a very nice team and are legitimately top five in the class. But the gap between Paintsville, Beechwood, Pikeville and the rest of the class is pretty wide.

Raceland had a good team too. Tough bunch!

IMO the first round bye was a huge break for them. It allowed them to scout Fairview the first week when otherwise they would have been playing. It also had to allow some players to get healed up. No matter though, they had a great season, just ran into a better team.

Did all of the Paris guys make it out of this game without injury? I believe 5 or more of those guys are a valuable part of the basketball team.

I went for the fact, I thought the game would be a great game. But I was pleased to talk some the Paintsvile fans and wish them good luck for the remaining season.
