Bernie Sanders - The Greatest Threat To National Security Is Climate Change

Featured Replies

And I totally agree with that point. Like anybody else, I'm far more concerned about what might show up on my doorstep today than 20 or 50 years down the road, and I'm not on board with totally destroying the economy in an effort toward eliminating pollutants. A balance has to be struck.

By the same token, I'm incredibly weary of the crowd that totally dismisses any environmental concerns out of hand as "liberal hooey" because it doesn't jive with their party's ideological planks. I challenge them all to put their money where their mouths (keyboard fingers?) are and opt for styrofoam and other plastics for heating fuel this winter. Or, be sensible and find a balance, so that there's a half-decent world still around for your ancestors.

We agree on this . I've always stated man affects nature , do what degree is always the debate for me. I've just always been against over reaching polices that would have dramatic negative impact on the economy and jobs.

My point wasn't to deny this aspect. It was to point out how dumb it is to claim climate change poses the biggest National Security threat to us today. The statement is so dumb , and there are actual people defending it.

Is there such a thing as an untypical lefty lemming? Ha ha. I suspect any answer I proffered would have been met with scorn.

1. No

2. If it wasn't typical lefty talking points that made sense, it wouldn't have.

I've seen it. Yes, the climate changes, always has. So, how in the world do you propose we stop the climate from changing? I'll ask you the same thing that I got no answer from TTP. Did you sell your car and are you riding a bicycle everywhere?
