November 19, 201510 yr I hope you got rid of your car and ride a bicycle everywhere you go. The debate about whether climate change is man-made ... or not ... has left the station. Tie a ribbon on that one, Mr. Republican. What matters now is maintaining world order as nations wrestle for natural resources amidst a rising tide.

What matters now is maintaining world order as nations wrestle for natural resources amidst a rising tide. So you're not doing your part Mr. Liberal? Or are you telling me nothing can be done?
November 19, 201510 yr So you're not doing your part Mr. Liberal? Or are you telling me nothing can be done? He's not going to give up his creature comforts. I mean, Al Gore didn't have to give up his jet.
November 19, 201510 yr So you're not doing your part Mr. Liberal? Or are you telling me nothing can be done? Some excellent stuff has been posted today on your thread. You ought to try reading some of it before switching from macro to micro. I'm referring specifically to Hellcats' two insightful posts -- #15 and #17. And then there's the new thread about the Syrian pipeline. Good stuff. Lots of countries jockeying for natural resources these days as the tide rises -- Russia vs. Ukraine; Chinese claiming pieces of rock to spite Japan, Philippines and Vietnam; Russia saying "the Arctic is ours," etc. This is what we should be talking about ... not whether you use your new recycling toter.
November 19, 201510 yr You guys only care about the DOD if you find some obscure report that satisfies your position. Don't act you're some big DOD supporter. Just because you can't see the report from your perspective of having your head up Rush Limbaugh's backside doesn't mean the DOD report is obscure. I respect our armed forces, and will give reasoned consideration to any report they generate. Your response to the report is to call it obscure, and to insult me. You don't know my views, and you never will. You lack the capacity to consider any issue or know any person beyond what the conservative heads chew up for you and vomit down your gullet. Take Care.
November 19, 201510 yr So when is Greenland going to become a place you can't live. I want a time frame. It already is. They messed up when naming Greenland and Iceland. They should swap franchises. There are 830K+ square miles of Greenland and not quite 56,000 people live there. I call that largely uninhabitable. Only Antarctica is less inhabited, as far as major land masses go. We should definitely be more worried about where the 169,000,000 people in Bangladesh will have to relocate to. And other low-lying, actually-populated areas around the world such as this. They are in danger, and they will be competing for resources wherever they end up, and that causes tensions among those already there.

November 19, 201510 yr Again time frame. And I totally agree with that point. Like anybody else, I'm far more concerned about what might show up on my doorstep today than 20 or 50 years down the road, and I'm not on board with totally destroying the economy in an effort toward eliminating pollutants. A balance has to be struck. By the same token, I'm incredibly weary of the crowd that totally dismisses any environmental concerns out of hand as "liberal hooey" because it doesn't jive with their party's ideological planks. I challenge them all to put their money where their mouths (keyboard fingers?) are and opt for styrofoam and other plastics for heating fuel this winter. Or, be sensible and find a balance, so that there's a half-decent world still around for your ancestors.

Gotcha, you just talk a big game and do nothing... :walk: So, for arguments sake, lets say Socialist Sanders and you are right. How do we stop "climate change"? I want answers, not liberal talking points like I've been getting.
November 19, 201510 yr The greatest threat to National Security would be Bernie Sanders, if he were elected President.

You don't know my views, and you never will. You lack the capacity to consider any issue or know any person beyond what the conservative heads chew up for you and vomit down your gullet. Take Care. Gee, kinda sensitive there are we? You paint conservatives with a broad brush yet fain your feelings being hurt and lash out when someone does the same for you. You need to thicker skin. Your reference to Rush is laughable. I am on record on many threads on BGP that I don't listen to or like Rush. Then again, if you would take you head out of George Soro's backside you would know this. As far as lacking the capacity to consider issues, I am not with the party that has anointed one candidate and am being told who I must vote for. I think for myself. I'm not a sheeple being told what to do.

November 19, 201510 yr Author Make sure your grandkids build their homes on high ground. You're welcome. As expected. You got nothing and don't do anything to walk the walk. Typical lefty lemming. My grandkids will be fine as far as climate goes. It's the barrage of craziness from the left they'll have to survive.
November 19, 201510 yr As expected. You got nothing and don't do anything to walk the walk. Typical lefty lemming. Is there such a thing as an untypical lefty lemming? Ha ha. I suspect any answer I proffered would have been met with scorn.
November 19, 201510 yr Make sure your grandkids build their homes on high ground. You're welcome. I'm sure my grand kids biggest worry will be paying for Obama's more than doubling the national debt and paying for all the "free stuff" the left promises.. Not global warming..
