Good point if you go for and don't get you still have to have a touchdown anyway. Heck we had to call a timeout on a punt none of the staff ever thought about going for two. lol

I wondered the same thing. Being down 4 or 5 is the same pretty much. Being down 3 makes a big difference.

On a side note Bama is killing Miss. St. 31-6 I don't look forward to us traveling down to Bama next season.

Short of course. If we had went for 2 on the last TD this could have been for a tie.

How do you slide and come up short dumb play.

 

Who taught a 6''5"/240 lb quarterback to slide a yard short? Why would a big kid like he ever slide?
