You can count on Trinity game planning for Shelton, Gentry and Wakefiled. All the injury stuff is a bunch of smoke and mirrors.

My source (third cousin of the waterboy's aunt) says that Male's QB has a Grade 2 AC shoulder separation. This requires two weeks in a sling, 4-6 weeks of rehab, before trying any pain free overhead motion. If this young man can throw now, he is either superman, eats nails for nourishment, or the waterboy has the wrong injury diagnosis.

Confused as to your reaction to my comments. I have the highest respect for Coach Wolfe and his program and my admiration for the QB's toughness was intended to be obvious and tongue-in-cheek funny. The complete tear in a Grade 2 would not allow anyone other than Superman to throw a football in two weeks. A Grade 1, possibly would with an amount of pain that only a tough person could tolerate. Thus the reference to my waterboy diagnosis info. My comment was to express my awe for the young man's grit and not meant to express a hint of slight.

What is wrong with my reaction? Why are you confused?

 

All I did was state factual information. The QB threw for 2 TD'S last week and Gentry ran for 200 yards. Both pieces of factual information were well documented on the news and in the Courier.

 

Yet we still continue to hear about the injuries on BGP's and out in the community. That was the only reason I said "smoke and mirrors". It just seems like too many people want to create the impression the kids from H might not play. Hopefully all of them are ready to roll and looking forward to another classic battle.

How many kids play both ways for these 2 teams? I know Burns does for Trinity.

I hope that all of the kids for both teams are healthy and ready to go. These are high school kids with finite careers. One of the most disgusting things I have ever seen on a football field was the St X fans, adults and kids, cheering when James Quick left on a back board in a neck brace. I want to win as much as anyone, but keep it in perspective.

I vividly remember watching Males kids celebrate like they won the state championship in the first meeting. I think that bites them in round two....

Not sure who wins this one.. It has the makings of an epic battle.
