Ryle had a great season hats off to them. Morgan, England, Bateman, Ross, Jarvis, Rabe and the rest of their players are good football team very tough team.

Was it what they wanted? No. Was it 3-9? No. Did they earn a lot of respect around NKY and KY throughout their season? Yes.

 

I'd say 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Ryle did not have a bad season, just not the season they wanted. Only a handful of teams will have the season they wanted.

I still can't believe they don't play England in the backfield full time. He had a nice TD run tonight, you'd think they would try to utilize a player like him quite a bit more.

Yea he certainly looked the part out there tonight. My opinion he needs 10-12 more touches than what they gave him tonight.

 

Ryle had a lot of dropped passes tonight, passes that keep the chains moving.

Like uk mentioned bosshog, they deserve some respect for the season they had, no need for the comments about golf. Their 3 losses on the season were to the two schools that will be playing for the right to represent our region in the semi-finals.

The team with the most yardage tonight was not Ryle or SK. It was the team wearing the striped shirts. I'm betting the total penalty yardage was in the neighborhood of 300 yds combined.

 

Congratulations to the Raiders on a successful season. NKy HS football is always more interesting when SK and Ryle are both competitive.

If you measure success by championships in 6A, then there are only two programs that are successful. After the first round, only good teams are left in 6A, unlike any other class in the state!

Very proud of Ryle! They came to play both times they played SK it was a very exciting game. Can't wait till they play again next year it is a great game I love. I wish SK could play Ryke every week. Hold your heads high Raiders you guys turned that team into to a really good team.

Let's remember from Ryles inception 2 1/2 decades, this year ranks up there with one of their best 4 seasons. A team with an overall history average of 50% wins per year a 9-3 season is a 75% win. The last three years 2-9, 5-7, 9-3. To me this shows great progress for a program that has been stalled for years, yes I'm sure they would have loved to win last night. But they can celebrate with the progress made. Many starters are juniors and a good sophomore class should ensure another good year. Building a good program, especially in HS doesn't come easy. Kudos to this years team and coach Engler and his staff for their hard work and accomplishments. Congratulations and looking forward to next season.
