Would You Abort Baby Hitler? Ben Carson Wouldn't!!!

Featured Replies

The question was asked by @PFT_Commenter, who is possibly the greatest satirist on the internet (his Twitter feed is golden). His shtick is that he argues like someone who posts in the comment section Pro Football Talk (or perhaps, as a registered user on BGP); poor spelling, "strong takes" and all. He's expanded his franchise to politics. Here's his "article" about the Republican debate where he asks Carson the question (he asked a great one to Huckabee at the last one):

Ben Carson would not abort Baby Hitler - SBNation.com

Highlight quote for me, on Jeb!:

"Perfect analogy. Jeb is Peyton Manning. Looks great on paper, big forehead, and his dumb[edit] looking brother has two championships."

And on immigration:

"Im a small government guy through and through. Thats why I was so disspointed when Kasichs immigration plan didnt require armed goverment agents kidnapping people from there homes and bussing them at gunpoint out of the country."

Wow..........you have MAJOR issues. :poop::poop:

Hey don't blame me. I'm just saying that Mother Bush has said in the past that she believes abortion is a personal matter for a woman to decide. If she had decided to abort W(which she may have considered, who knows?), let me think... how would the world be different today? No Hitler...No Bush... would it be that bad? No Holocaust? No Iraq?Maybe even no 9-11? I could go the rest of my life without anymore Bush. (Hey, wait, maybe I should retract that statement.)

Didn't George W. even pay for a young girl's abortion when he was young? Just saying...

You wish one of the Bush children would have been aborted?

You're a real jewel.

Thanks. :)

I've seen it all now. Throwing out accusations made by Larry Flynt of all people! He never did produce all that proof now did he?

You are absolutely right. Because if Hitler was never born, it is absolutely impossible that some other frustrated German would have risen to power in Nazi Germany. Hitler was the only German who was upset about the WWI sanctions, so no one else would have risen up.

Absolutely for another thread, but here's a good abortion question/situation:

I agree, looks like a good one to take up in another thread and you can bet I will.

Surely you must agree than anyone who cries out to an imaginary God about cancer or government and worse yet, expects an answer from said imaginary being, has more to be worried about than abortion or governance :)

The fundamental difference between you and I is that little "I" word you put in there. That does not make you a better person than me nor me a better person than you, but I can promise you that when I have a rough day and am crying out before I go to bed, it's not to an "imaginary" being. It's to a being that is much, much, much more real than anything we can find on earth or in this universe. That does not mean you have to believe, but my personal beliefs do not include an "imaginary" being.

And I do get answers from God, FWIW.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, I wasn't able to find that handle. I'll allow that I haven't totally figured out the Twitterses yet.

Am I following you or vice-versa?

Looks like it's just @PFTCommenter without the underscore. I didn't know you were on there. :lol2:

I know, right? You would love to have seen the text convo between me and some buddies about 5 years ago when one of them was trying to sell me on Twitter.

"Facebook's bad enough as it is! I don't need to be followin' anybody!" Sort of the gist of my argument against it. Almost a year and a half into it now.

Interesting thought on this Cat. Did Hitler's evil come from Nature or Nurture?

I'd say Nurture but wondering if anyone thinks he was born that way.

I've mentioned this (admittedly simplistic) belief that I have on the nature vs. nurture issue. Nature gives everyone a rubber band. Different for everybody.

Nurture determines how far it stretches.

You WANT to THINK you do. Therefore, you THINK you do. You WANT to believe you do. Therefore you BELIEVE you do. It's all in what you want to think and believe. Those same answers or non-answers would come whether you believed in a spiritual nanny or not. Whether" answers" , or perceived answers, come or don't come , there isn't a shred of evidence of a man in space watching over you.

On the contrary, you don't have any evidence that there isn't.
